Webinar: Virtual Journey Mapping the Maternal Health Experience Jan. 26

During this interactive webinar, AHA staff will lead participants through a journey mapping exercise using IdeaBoardz. Journey mapping puts patients at the center of the conversation allowing us to understand their care experiences and the many touch-points hospitals and health systems have with women and children across the care continuum.

During our mapping exercise, we will discuss the three phases of the maternity experience: pregnancy, labor and delivery, and postpartum (one year following delivery).

Journey mapping helps hospitals identify opportunities to improve processes, outcomes and patient experiences. AHA will use the visualization to create tools, resources and education to help members improve care for women and children.
